Bamboo is a natural, antibacterial fibre and 100% biodegradable. This blend of cotton and bamboo combines the best qualities of both materials to make a luxuriously soft and durable wadding. No chemicals or bleach are used in the process.
Shrinkage is less than 5%. Pre-washing is not essential but will avoid the antique, 'wrinkled' look which comes after the first wash of a quilt and may or may not be desirable.
To pre-wash: Hand wash in cool water and mild detergent, soak for 15 minutes, squeeze out excess moisture using a dry towel. Dry flat.
To wash once quilt is made: Hand wash or machine wash in warm water with mild detergent. Dry naturally.
