We are delighted to bring you this absolutely lovely range of voiles from Anna Maria Horner. Little Folks is printed on the finest 54” cotton voile with a silky soft feel and a gorgeous drape, the very best option for light and pretty summer clothing.

As Anna Maria herself says – “The texture of this fabric is as soft as it could possibly be without it being slippery. The word butter is used a lot after people feel it for the first time. As most voiles go, I would say that mine are less sheer that what many who know voile, would consider typical. The sheerness factor in my collection is directly related to the color factor. The lighter color the fabric the more sheer the appearance. …..in many ways the fabric is similar to cotton lawn, but not quite as crisp or papery as most lawns that I am familiar with.” She talks a lot more about sewing with voile in her blog -annamariahorner.blogspot.com

These voiles are suitable for any pattern which asks for medium to light weight cotton. Here at Ray Stitch we’ve already been busy using them for some sweet little tops. Below you’ll see we used Amy Butler’s Sun Surf Halter pattern (size range from age 2 to size 22 ladies) for two tops with contrasting tie necks, and also The Sew Liberated Flora Tunic for the little blue floaty top.

We stock hundreds of shades of Coats Cotton and Coats Duet Polyester thread but it is difficult to accurately display all these colours on the website.

Previously we used a colour chart to display just a few of them but we’ve recently made changes to our thread pages – hopefully you’ll find them much improved.

We’ve replaced the colour chart with thumbnail pictures and, although we can’t show them all, we can now show you a much better range within 3 colour sets.
