Maximum Class Size: 5 Students 

Class Level: This class is designed to follow on from our Essential Skills A and B classes. You may have completed a variety of different projects but want to go over some more advanced techniques, which you may encounter with more advanced sewing patterns and projects. 

Through making a series of samples in calico, you will learn a number of skills and techniques to help you with more advanced dress and garment making patterns. 

This class will cover:

  • Fly front zip
  • Pin hem
  • Bound seam
  • Placket 
  • Gathering 
  • Shirring 

All materials and notions are supplied. A sewing machine and scissors will be allocated to you. Please let us know in advance if you would like to bring your own machine.
