Japanese Crushed Voile - Chamomile
Price is per HALF metre. Multiple quantities will be cut as a continuous length.
A lightweight cotton voile made in Japan from Japanese brand Sevenberry. It has a slightly crushed look and hand feel, with a slight sheen to the yarn similar to that of georgette, with a good amount of natural bias stretch. It is very soft to the touch, and being cotton would be most suited to summer dresses, lightweight blouses and jacket linings. You could also make floaty lightweight trousers lined with a similar weight voile, or use it for summer curtains! It is piece dyed and so achieves a solid colour. Please note: the colour is much more of a dusky pink than the image lets on - see image of pile of fabrics for truer representation.
100% cotton. 150cm wide. Approximately 70gr/m2.
We recommend that you prewash this fabric on a gentle 30˚ wash with a mild detergent and line-dry flat where possible. We suggest that ironing isn't needed for this fabric but if it gets too wrinkled, hang it up in your shower room to allow the steam to fall out the creases. We always advise prewashing before cutting in case of any minor shrinkage or dye transfer that could occur.
