London Cloth Company Wool - Southwark
A classic tweed-feeling wool cloth with a 'brick' weave. The various beige and grey tones used in the cloth are all undyed natural wool and take on the characteristics of the sheep they are from. Still a mediumweight wool with a flatter finish, this cloth would make a great coat or jacket, or simple lined skirt. You could also use it for blankets, bags, cushions and curtains. This is a 'broken twill weave' in ultimate beige and Government grey yarns.
Price is per HALF metre. Multiple quantities will be cut as a continuous length.
150cm wide. 100% British wool.
This cloth should be drycleaned or handwashed using a mild detergent without any agitation. We recommend spraying it with a mild fabric freshener rather than washing where possible.
Based in East London, the London Cloth Company is a micro-mill specialising in quality woven cloth, particularly woollens, produced on their range of carefully and lovingly restored shuttle looms.
