Japanese Cotton Lawn

100% Cotton

110cm wide, 75gsm

Super smooth, slightly sheer, combed cotton lawn. Dyed in a range of vivid and pastel shades that are beautiful for summer dressmaking, layering and for use as linings. You could even use it as lightweight curtains, pillowcases and handkerchiefs.

Made in Japan.

Cotton is a brilliant fibre to use and wear in garment making. It is completely natural and therefore breathable and pleasant to wear. Cotton fibres are durable and stable and so are very easy to work with, allowing for precise cutting and easy construction.

We advise you to prewash your fabric before cutting in case of any minor shrinkage or dye transfer that may occur. Wash at 30˚ with mild detergent and air dry where possible. Iron medium-hot on the reverse side.
