Merchant & Mills - The Strand UK 8-18 - PDF Pattern

Please note: This is a multi-size PDF pattern including sizes 8 – 18. This PDF gives you the tiled (90 x A4 pages) and A0 (copy shop) versions. The tiled version is compatible with US letter paper. You just need to print out the sheets and stick them together following the guide. Alternatively you can send off the copy shop file to be printed full size. The instructions can either be printed at home or simply follow along on your computer or phone.

The Strand  is a simple unlined coat for cutting a dash in the city. The side seams have been brought to the front and feature a side pocket. The waist seam has an in-seam pocket. The sleeves are set in and sport elbow darts and the front fastening is created by 5 x 1.8cm inseam hooks and eyes.

Level: Intermediate

Fabric recommendations: Designed for linen but this pattern also works well in cotton drill, twill, light to medium weight wool, and 8-12oz denim.

Notions: Matching thread; Interfacing - 1.2M/1.3YD; Large hook and eye x 5.
