Preparation: To save valuable learning time in the class we ask that you cut out your pattern and fabric before the first session. We'll get in touch about this before the sessions start. Your teacher may also discuss homework as there will possibly be small amounts to do at home in between sessions.

Materials: Sewing patterns are included but you will need to provide your own fabric for the garments. The machines, equipment & sundry materials, such as basic thread colours and interfacing are provided.

Booking a class at Ray Stitch entitles you to 10% off everything in store where our team are happy to help and advise on fabric. (Valid up until the day of your class)

Check out other Garment Making Courses HERE.

You might want to start using an overlocker, check out Introduction to Overlocker and Sewing with Stretch courses.

We also teach advanced techniques classes, couture and tailoring techniques workshops, for those who would like to extend their knowledge and achieve a professional finish.

We also run Freestyle Dressmaking/Open Sewing Clinic sessions if you need specific help with a project on the go or want to start something from scratch.

Before you book, please take a moment to read our cancellation policy: Unfortunately our classes are non refundable. Due to our small class sizes it is also very difficult to transfer your booking to a different date. If you cannot attend a class and are able to notify us at least two weeks before the class starts, it may be possible to fit you in on another date but this is not guaranteed so please give us as much notice as possible to increase your chances.
