Open Sewing - Bring Your Own Project

  • Make a Selection

Maximum Class Size: 5

Level 3: Intermediate. Open to students who are confident using a sewing machine and ready to develop their skills through self-directed projects. This class is ideal for those who have completed our Introduction to Machine Sewing or a Level 2 skills class.

Need help with a tricky technique or just want some dedicated sewing time? Open Sewing is a relaxed, tutor-led session designed to support you with your current project, whether you're starting from scratch or need help finishing off a garment.

Bring anything from an untouched pattern to a half-made piece or even vintage repairs. With expert guidance on hand, you can sew at your own pace while enjoying access to professional tools and space (and without needing to tidy up at the end!). These 3-hour sessions run on weekdays and evenings and can be booked as needed.

What to Bring

Please bring your chosen project and any materials you plan to use. Our experienced teachers can help with most things, from pattern cutting and fitting to troubleshooting construction steps.

Materials

You’re welcome to use our studio machines and tools. You’ll need to bring your own fabric, notions, and pattern unless previously arranged.

Cancellation Policy

Our classes are non refundable. Due our small class sizes it is very difficult to transfer your booking to a different date. If you cannot attend a class and are able to notify us at least two weeks before the class starts, it may be possible to fit you in on another date but this is not guaranteed so please give us as much notice as possible to increase your chances.

In the event that we need to cancel a class, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer either a full refund or an alternative booking date.
