Raw unbleached cotton overlocker spool on cardboard cone with paper wrap. Plastic free and 100% biodegradable.
This 150g (roughly 5000 yards) overlocker spool is made from 100% raw unbleached cotton. At 60s/3 weight and made from combed fibres with 35% long staple fibres, it is strong and smooth and runs as well as polyester thread through machines. It may also be used on sewing machines, however you may need to adapt somehow as the cone is quite large.
It comes on a dimpled cardboard cone meaning you can run to the very end of the thread, with the option to recycle or compost the core afterwards. It comes wrapped in paper to protect it which is also biodegradable.
